Ambassadors of Ugandan Rhythmic Heritage

The Kamengo Culture Troupe (KCT) was founded through the Agnes Zabali Boys and Girls Club (AZBGC) as a creative platform for cultural expression, youth empowerment, fundraising, and community awareness. Rooted in Uganda's communities, KCT brings together talented young people, including alumni and graduates of AZBGC’s mentorship programs. Through traditional Ugandan music, dance, storytelling, and cultural performance, the troupe gives young people opportunities to celebrate who they are while sharing their community's rich cultural heritage with audiences around the world. Kamengo Cultural Troupe is a premier cultural performance organization dedicated to presenting the vibrant music, dance, and storytelling of Uganda. Comprising seasoned traditional performers, master percussionists, and cultural scholars, we bridge centuries of oral traditions with world-class contemporary stage presence.
